How Can I Participate?
Currently, there are three ways to be eligible to participate in the Fresh Fund. Each week, food stamp recipients can redeem $5 worth of Fresh Fund Dollars when they spend $5 of their food stamps at the market*. And, WIC mothers or folks who receive SSI/Disability can receive $5 worth of Fresh Fund Dollars when they show proof of enrollment. In the future, we hope to grow this program to serve low-income Seniors over 65.
*If you are not currently receiving food stamp benefits, you can be pre-screened for eligibility at the Market.
